Camping

I went camping with my friends Ashley and Jay and we had a great time. Javi loves the outdoors and he just runs and plays near the camp.

After we woke up and ate breakfast Ashley noticed something moving and thought it might be a snake. So we checked it out and indeed it was. It was a Mohave rattler, I think that's what it was.


So, we decided to get it so that Javi could continue playing around without threat of death. So we began to stone it. How terrible it would have been in the old days to be stoned. This poor snake (right) tried to slither away and wouldn't even rattle, the wuss.

In the end Jay killed it with a shovel and we had a fun photo opp.

As we were taking one photo the snake bore its fangs right as the camera flashed and we did not see it coming and we screamed as I pushed Ashley down and ran. It was a good time.
